NEVER should a person with dual-citizenship be able to run for president. NEVER! We have enough trouble with those politicians who sell us out for the money. We don’t need to add idiological sellouts to undermine our patriotism – something America, with her legs wide open to ANY and ALL immigrants, doesn’t need – period!

The U.S. recognizes dual citizenship. I think the idea is less of a problem to accept when it’s someone we like. I don’t like Hussein.

Senator Obama’s mother and father were not legally married when he was born because his father was already married in Kenya.
Since his mother’s last name at the time was Dunham, why could he claim his father’s name? Most babies were given the name of the unmarried mother. Would be interesting to see the official birth certificate.

When our kids were born, the race recorded on the birth certificates was that of their mother, which is different from mine.

This is because his name at birth was “Barry” and it would serve as evidence that he later took the Muslim names of Barack Hussein when he was young and studying the Koran. It seems that Barack Obama is not qualified to be president afterall for the following reason:
Barack Obama is not legally a U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth,
which falls between “December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986″ . Presidential office requires a natural-born
citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. citizen parents, which of course is what exempts
John McCain though he was born in the Panama Canal.US Law very clearly stipulates:
“…If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided
in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16.”Barack Obama’s father was not a U.S. citizen and Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born,

In american immigration law a new born,born to only one US natrual born citizen which in this case would be his mother — stanly Ann Dunham- thus Barry Dunham would or should be on his birth certificate. for him to change his name at birth to OBAMA his father would have had to ADOPT him, there is no evedence that he did this thus his name remains Dunham. When his mother remarried his name was changed to Soetro but how? his new father would also have had to adopt him to change his name , and make him a citizen of Indonesia,however barry returned to honolulu somehow on his second fathers passport. his grandparents did not change Barry’s legal status so for some reason he kept the name Soetoro until he changed it yet again to Barack Hussein obama but he did not do it legally by deedpole thus he should still be using his real name. The question of wether he is a citizen of Indonesia or Kenya both of which he claims, is open to question because of the lack of any legal documentation available at present
the other interesting issue you raise is citizenship of the united States if you leave the country for an exstended period of time , yes , the answer is 5 years – however it would appear that barry left for under slightly 5 years so he may be safe on that one .

The correct age is 16, not 14. A 1952 Act changed the age briefly, but much of that was repealed by Bill Clinton in 1994.
In 1961 Citizenship was passed down by the Father, not the Mother. According to the law at the time Barack would have been registered Kenyan, as his Father was.
Those laws have been repealed effectively making Barack a US citizen by birth, in Hawaii, by Ann Dunham. However, he may not be considered a ‘natural born’ citizen.
This is important because you must be a natural born citizen to be the President of the United States. This is the only ‘Office’ this law applies to, so far as I know.
Read this, it says it better than I can;
“…It has been pointed out to me that prior to 1986, someone born abroad was a U.S. citizen only if both parents were U.S. citizens at the time of the child’s birth. Since Obama’s father was not a U.S. citizen, he actually cannot claim citizenship by jus sanguinis, only by jus soli with Hawaii considered a state. Two arguments made here could be valid, but not necessarily relevant.
1. Eligibility for office.
I can’t imagine any serious challenge based on being born in Hawai’i to so-and-so at this age in that year etc. etc. Even if there’s a legal point, it’s just not going to happen.
2. Bigamous father and bastard birth.
Again, I can’t imagine that would be a reason to keep his birth cert secret.
Even if there was fraud or deception on the certificate, it wouldn’t be Obama’s fault.
Therefore, since it is definitely bizarre that a person running for the presidency would not make such a basic form of ID public, and it appears that something is being hidden, my guess is that the problem is his name.
Is there a Muslim equivalent to a Christening ceremony?
Anyway, whatever he was named/christened at birth, or however it was recorded — none of this has anything to do with Obama. Even if he changed his name later from “Barry” to “Barack” and added “Hussein” to honour his African family more — for most people that’s really neither here nor there.
So why would a name change be a big deal?
The only reason I can think of is that it would invalidate his Benetton-moment claim that “my parents gave me an African name …”, which would call his character into question; or it would raise suspicions that he wanted a Muslim name instead of plain old “Barry”.
Re his character, he’s already been shown to have lied about his dad and “the day after pearl harbour”, claiming that McCain wants war for 100 years; 10,000 dead in the hurricane; his “uncle” at Auschwitz, etc, and people don’t seem to care.
I guess he’s just trying to “negate” the negative impression of his Muslim name.
Anyway, considering the wild [but all valid] speculations that people are engaging in, it makes one think that if he has nothing to hide, surely he’d just show some reporter his birth cert and make it a non-issue! Therefore, it seems reasonable to assume that he must have something to hide.
My bet: his name was Barry/Barack Stanley Dunham, and he doesn’t want people to know that he changed his name to Barack Hussein as a teen/adult.

I am a Hillary support who as been very disillusioned by the entire democratic process. Never have a seen a woman blatantly attacked by male (and sadly female) newsmedia as Sen. Clinton was. They did not attack her policies, but rather focused on her personally. I am also very angry by the manner in which the DNC handed over votes to Barack Obama that should not have been awarded to either candidate. The had 3 choices: 1) not count the votes in MI or FL 2) seat half the delegates from each state or 3) they could have voted to have a revote for both states. Instead, they awarded uncommitted and took delegates from Hillary. Within their own by-laws, any uncommitted votes should have been tossed. Whether you are an Obama supporter or not, let’s not pretend that this election hasn’t been bought by Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, and Oprah Winfrey. The truth about the ties between all of those people will eventually come out. Wake up Obama supporters and see who or what this man really is!!!!!!!!!

Apparently religion was not asked about on Hawaiian birth certificates in the early 60s.
So, unless Obama is just embarrassed about the fact that he’s a bastard, and the likelihood that his parent’s engaged in matrimonial fraud, there are only two serious possiblities.
1. His name is not officially Barack Hussein Obama.
2. He was part of a multiple birth.

On Barack Obama birth certificate, his father’s race is noted as African. Well African is not a race on Kenyan birth certificates. In Kenya his father’s race was noted as Black Arab. I suggest someone gets a copy of a Kenyan birth certificate. WHy did Barack Obama mother change the race of her sons’s father. I think Barack should also release the birth certificate of his father. The birth certificate Barack release is the copy he got after he changed his name. The original birth certificate was not copied for the public. I am sure his birth name was Barry. Obama is Arab American because of his father’s race.

The document on Kos is clearly not an ORIGINAL birth certificate.
My birth certificate is about 11” x 17′.
It lists my parents’ addresses and occupations and the hospital I was born at etc etc etc.
Some site had a 1962 Hawai’ian cert. It asked about 20 questions! including if there were any twins, triplets etc.
There are no signatures on that Kos-cert!
It is a document to prove a birth, it is not the original document.
Historians would scoff at it.
This just raises more doubts about Obama. What on Earth is his problem?

“A “certificate of live birth” is a government extract of the original birth certificate filed with the state or commonwealth. The certificate shown on Kos’ page is what you would get if you applied for a duplicate of an existing birth certificate, in the event that you needed it for employment or identification, or whatever. It is NOT a copy of the original document, simply the extracted information printed onto a proprietary paper at the time of the request.”
Furthermore, it is common practice in many US states to edit such secondary certificates to account for name-changes, sex-changes (ha, that would be a good story!, updated info (such as a newly identified father etc)
In other words, if he changed him name he could request the id reflect that change

Someone please explain… the Obama “birth certificate” that appears at fightthesmear.com is on a form that, if you look very, very carefully in the lower left corner, was revised 11/01. Yet the certificate was issued in 1961? This cannot be a certified copy. I smell a rat.

Here’s where I’m coming from.
I have 3 citizenships, all perfectly legal.
3 countries that are allies.
If I were running for president, I would consider it perfectly rational that people would wonder which countries I was a citizen of, considering how convoluted my history is.
I think a person should be expected to renounce all foreign citizenships when attempting to become Head of State.
I would publicly clarify my complete citizenship status, and would publicly renounce all foreign citizenships before it even became an issue.
Therefore, I’m STUNNED that some reporter hasn’t asked Obama the perfectly reasonable questions:
“Are you or have you ever been a citizen of Kenya or of Indonesia? Yes or no?”
I have no idea if it’s true, but I’ve read a few blogs claiming that he traveled on his Indonesian father’s passport, that he was listed as an Indonesian citizen in school there, and that his Kenyan father registered his birth in Kenya.
He has traveled to both Kenya and Indonesia as an adult.
He would automatically have been eligible for Indonesian citizenship when his mother married Soutoro. In fact the government at that time was intensely nationalistic. His father Lolo returned there because the government ordered all Indonesians to “return home”. Millions of Chinese Indonesians were forced to accept sole Indonesian citizenship or face deportation. (Actually millions were murdered)
Dual citizenship was not accepted!
And his mother was more committed to Indonesia than to the US.
None of this would disqualify him from the presidency. Especially considering he was subject to his mother’s whims.
However, considering all of this, it is perfectly reasonable to ask him about his status as a dual or triple citizen.

I had assumed, without giving it much thought, that the Commander in Chief (CIC) of our country would have Top Secret Security Clearance (TS). The assumption was that it was a “given”.
But then I questioned what exactly the criteria to get this clearance are and with BHO’s questionable past and current associates and positions, how can he meet the scrutiny?
And if he can’t meet the scrutiny, can he really become Pres?
I guess my question is two-fold. First, technically speaking, does the CIC get TS, and if so, can BHO meet the criteria? Second, if this is an issue, why would anyone vote for a candidate that technically can’t be CIC?
This along with the birth certificate issue is perplexing and I think has potential for a big cover up; buried under tons of money and corruption.
Seems to me, giving Barry top secret security clearance is giving top secret security clearance to George Soros and the nutcase in Iran.

Was this “birth certificate” the firs tuse of the laser printer? I didn’t realize they had them in 1961. Maybe since Hawai’i had recently been named a state the U.S. thought that they would be a great place to try out the new device. My birth certificate was printed three years later ina different state but it was typed. We didn’t have those new-fangled contraptions.

I was born years after B. Hussein O., in one of the capital of the industrialized world, and my birth certificate is mostly filled out in handwriting for some strange reason.
Even when I ordered a copy a couple of years ago, I was sent an 11″x17″ laser copy of the original document, along with a smaller summarized version like the one that is on Mr. O’Bomber’s site.
The original has the names and addresses and occupations and religion etc. of all of my parents and grandparents listed. The summary just has the details of my birth.
[BTW, before sensitive souls out there fire up their keyboards to complain about “O’Bomber” (”Not ALL Muslims are terrorists you know!?”) — that was his nickname in high school. Barry O’Bomber.]

JudiNic makes an excellent point that I haven’t seen elsewhere (not that I’m an expert but I’ve read a good bit on Senator Obama at this point). The clearance issue is noteworthy.
He can be president without qualifying for a TS or TS-SCI clearance. There’s no law forbidding it that I’m aware of. However, once in office he would have sweeping access well beyond all but the heads of the intel agencies (and very high-level officials in DoD). It’s automatic and for good reason—he can’t be the president if he doesn’t know what’s going on.
This raises an obvious dilemma. He is either uncleared or has a Secret or perhaps an interim TS at present. Suddenly, on 01JAN2009 this becomes a TS-SCI with compartmented access to cross-agency programs of the highest sensitivitiy. Most people with TS-SCIs only have a limited number of compartments and those are usually inside their organization. Very few have breadth and depth in terms of access. Most have proven themselves over years of service, background checks, polygraphs, psych evals etc. Senator Obama can have all of that in less than 3yrs by simply getting elected. This IS important to consider.
But aren’t there other washington outsiders who come into this world sans clearances? Sure, plenty, but they don’t have backgrounds that would have denied them (under normal circumstances) from getting these clearances.
Let’s talk briefly about Senator Obama’s associations in respect to getting clearances. However tangential these problematic connections appear, the sheer number would preclude him from getting anything above a Secret clearance, if that. However he is not a normal mortal—he is a Senator, nominee, and perhaps future President.
Serving on a board with Ayers, by itself, wouldn’t stop him receiving a TS. But serving on a board with Ayers, buying a house from Rezko (now convicted on 16 different charges; basically a light mobster), his “spiritual mentor” being a firebrand like Wright who is connected to Farrakhan and Cone (not to mention Meeks, the other “spiritual advisor”), AND the connection to the PLO including fundraising for them (while on the Woods Fund) with former propagandist Khalidi would make it VERY difficult to get any kind of clearance. The only reason he could get a secret under these conditions (assuming he weren’t a senator and politically connected) is the background check is so cursory.
I really liked Senator Obama when he first appeared on the political landscape last year—he’s smart, eloquent, well-educated, and does seem to offer something new. But after reading more and more articles (by big media and small) it’s more clear that he’s a socialistic Neville Chamberlain with a specter of racism circling around him in the form of business/social/spiritual associations.
I don’t feel that is an unfair characteriziation given all the facts, particularly his own words—written and spoken put in the context of his associations.
In all seriousness, do any of you think someone could create a legitimate critique first on paper, then on video, of all the blatantly alarming (and undisputable) facts and broadcast it to enough people to help them come out from under the “Change” spell? Something that sounds like conspiracy theory won’t work; neither will partisan political spin. We’re talking an objective work that connects only the most obvious dots that cannot be laughed off or explained away. The usual blog stuff won’t work either. Do you think the republicans are doing this or can be trusted to do the job well-enough?

God i read this and i see America at its best, at its most hypocritical and contradicting self. Why is his birth certificate an issue in the first place. is it because his skin is not the same as yours? it because he is a candidate who is not like the rest? bottom line is that he is an American. Let me see if I have this right. The Obama campaign first lied about his citizenship in hopes that no one would notice. Then it went to the effort of forging a document that wasn’t even a certified birth certificate. It did so with such poor skill that random people on the Internet noticed it. Then Obama got the Hawaii Department of Health in on the scam, which then lied and told the St. Petersburg Times that an obviously fake birth certificate was valid. Then Obama got the FBI to look the other way and not investigate such a clear example of forgery.
This guy really is a diabolical mastermind. That might be an improvement over the last eight years.

The other salient aspect is that Obama already is ineligible with or without the birth certificate. His mother was only 18 at the time. The requirement for native American birth is that the mother must reside in the USA 10 years, 5 of which must be after the age of 16. So 16 + 5 =21. She was 3 years shy of eligibility and Obama is NOT native born in compliance.
I read a few comments on other forums belittling the importance of the birth certificate and Obama’s suspected failure to register for the draft. Here’s the draft registration requirement.
• Selective Service Registration: Defense Authorization Act established Title 5, U.S. Code, Section 3328
The law says that all men living in the United States who are ages 18 through 25 must register, except those who are in valid non-immigrant status (e.g., students, visitors, and people who have been permitted to come to the US for limited periods of time, etc.). The Selective Service interprets this to mean that undocumented men must register. Failing to register is a federal crime, with a penalty of up to five years in prison or a $250,000 fine or both.

f you had a chance to read all of my posts on The Greater Evil, you would know that the “Certification of Live Birth” (COLB) is, for all intents and purposes, a “Birth Certificate,” providing, of course, that it has been duly certified with an embossed seal and stamped with the signature block of Alvin T. Onaka, Director of the Office of Health Status Monitoring (that OHSM you see at the bottom), and the REGISTRAR — hence the reason his name is on the signature block
Hawaii ONLY issues the COLB, and only a CERTIFIED COLB. You cannot get a copy of your original birth certificate.
If you had a chance to see the bottom of the COLB, there is the caveat that “Any tampering with this document renders it invalid.”
So, it does not matter if it says “African” instead of “Black” (”African” is what they write when your nationality and ethnicity is African, and OBama’s daddy was from Kenya, in Africa.)
What does matter more is that forgery reads “DATE FILED BY THE REGISTRAR” when what it should read is “DATE ACCEPTED BY THE REGISTRAR”.
Bottom line: EVERY SINGLE “CERTIFICATION OF LIVE BIRTH” BEARING OBAMA’S NAME IS A FAKE, A FORGERY, A FRAUD, AND TOTALLY BOGUS.
If the Obama camp is saying that what is posted on the Smears website is really a genuine copy of Obama’s duly certified COLB, then they are either totally retarded, or are lying through their teeth.

I just stumbled upon this site and I want to say thank you to everyone for all of the information. I have never voted for a republican for president and I’m not sure I will this time. But one thing I am sure of is the fact that there is definitely something “interesting” occurring with the Obama camp’s unwillingness to disclose such pertinent, yet readily available documents. It seems to me that this should really be a simple task to accomplish: supply us, the citizens and voters, with a CERTIFIED, unmodified certificate of birth!! How hard is that?
Perhaps if the tele-prompter told him how to furnish this info properly, we wouldn’t be so up in arms.
Regardless, I just attempted to sign the petition to get Barry to release the official, unmodified certificate, but was met with a page that is no longer there. So I googled this…. “petition for obama birth certificate”……..and the very first hit from google points to this link…….

So I click on the link and I am astonished to find out that the original petitioner has had to remove the petition due to real threats that contained information specific to his address and family!! It is very unfortunate that a simple request for disclosure of info regarding a candidate running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has been met with such animosity and contempt. Unless there is something being hidden, and at this point I suspect there is, one would think that the Obama camp would be more than willing to disclose any information that would back up and corroborate their position that Obama is constitutionally qualified to be the President.
As I stated when I began this comment, I have never voted for a republican for the office of President (in fact my motto for the last eight years has been: “Don’t blame me….I voted for the other guy!”), but if we cannot even get Barry to be honest and straight forward about something as simple as his birth certificate, then how can I trust anything he has said so far? How can I believe that his comdemnation of Rev. Wright was not just a put-up job for the media? How can I believe that he is really not a Muslim? (And I’m not saying that if he is a muslim, he can’t be President–I’m saying: he has stated that he is a Christian and not a Muslim, but is he telling the truth?) See how this one simple document (birth certificate)-and all the secrecy behind it- has changed the whole outlook of this election for me? Simply supplying the document and answering the questions with honesty and truth would have made things easier for me……actually, the easiest thing for me would have been for Obama to concede to Hillary, but I digress as I’m sure I just made anyone from this blog who is reading my comment sick to their stomach
At this point, however, even if Barry does supply a legitimate copy or original birth certificate, I think it may be too little too late for me. If he is willing to hide this info-and by going to these great lengths to do so-I am frightened by what he would be willing to hide, and what he would be willing to do to hide whatever he doesn’t want us to know!!!!!!

I find it disturbing that this individual ( Barack Obama) applying for the most powerful position in the USA, where the constitution is specific about being a natural born citizen, is able to run rough shod about producing positive proof of birth place. The prospective candidate has to be disqualified unless that requirement can be met. What is the big deal about producing a valid birth cirtificate, unless there is something to hide. I recently had to provide that kind of proof to obtain a security clearance required by Home Land Security to be able to keep my job. And I’m only an electrician working on an industrial site ( not a government installation). Who does this guy and the nut jobs that support him think he is. Bottom line is, Barack and the left (Marxists) have a lot to hide because their goal is and always has been to dismantle this constitutional republic. In their eyes the rules do not apply to them.

Folks, take a magnifying glass and see it says by laser…..correct me if I am wrong but did laser printers exist in 1961 to be used by the public or state agencies and since when were birth certificates allowed to be transmitted from the state to an individual electronically. Such as: Why would someone go to the trouble of forging or counterfeiting a birth document if the authentic document was available? The answer is obvious. The document that was forged was a “Certification of Live Birth” and NOT a “Certificate of Live Birth”. I’ve seen an actual Certificate of Live Birth issued in Hawaii and the information contained in that document is much more detailed than the information contained in the KOS document. Lastly, in 1961 America, the race of the father would not have been listed as “African” as it is on the KOS document, but either “Black” or “Negro”.

Remember people like Hannity, Ingraham and Levin swearing they’d never support McCain, and that it would be better for Obama to win ’cause he’d screw the country up so much that “The People” wold then turn to “real conservatives” — like Bishop Romney!? — to save them? We need 50 comparable, original, certificates from other “blacks” born in Hawaii in 1961. Preferably at the same hospital. The use of “African” is an obvious mistake by the forger. At that time in our history his father would have been listed as “Negroe”. I have heard that he was actually born in Kenya. Who is able to find records from there? Probably already destroyed? His mother was too far along to fly in an airplane. Are there records from the aircraft flights of passengers within the window? The fraud continues.

It seem a bit far-fetched that Obama could have been born in Kenya.
On the other hand, one basis of Philip Berg’s lawsuit is the discrepancies in reports about his birth. He says he was born in hospital A, his sister says it was hospital B. That could be an undersandable mistake. But his African “grandmother” [i.e one of his grandfather’s concubines] claims that she was present at Obama’s birth in Kenya.
She could have gone there easily at 6 or 7 months pregnant. I’ve known women at 6-7 months who just look like they could be fat.
I’ve always thought that the likeliest explanation for the birth cert runaround is because he was named “Barack Dunham” or “Barry Dunham”, which would mean that as an adult he chose to give himself a Muslim name and honor his father who abandoned him, so as to diss his white family who cared for him.
I would guess that he changed his name from Soetero to Obama after returning to the US., and after his mother abandoned him at 16 to go back to Indonesia, to “save the poor natives”.
Barry Dunham is a steaming casserole of neuroses.

You know, I went back and looked at some of the pictures of obama as a young boy, adult and now and he sure changed. As a young boy he had a rounded face and his left ear sat out from his head. Then as we see him today his ears are both flatter although big and his chin is very elongated.

The so called birth certificate issued by the stete of Hawaii is a fraud.
Birth certificates issed in 1950 -1955 at lease were issued by the city of Honolulu board of health not the state of Hawaii. I have the certificate for my son who was born in 1952 and on his 7th birthday became eligible to be president of the US. -
What needs to happen is we need ONE state ONE state to demand his ORIGINAL birth certificate or be taken off the ballot. This will cause Obama to produce one, and if he does not…Americans all over will know the truth!

Today October 18th a Baltimore Radio Station has posted a comment about Michelle Obama. It says she called an African News Agency and threatened them because they did not support obama. She said that Africans and black Americans should support obama because he is black. She also made references to obama being adopted by a foreign thus disqualifying him for president. And that the AFI should not publish that information. She is so darn stupid that she does not understand that even if obama is elected and they have proof that he is not a citizen he will not only be removed from office he will be prosecuted. That document could consist of “corrections” to the original, or a name change with no record of the original birth name. Such documents are useful to ex-mafiosi or people in witness protection. A real birth certificate is the actual document that was compiled at the time of birth. And in 1961 it would have either been filled out in handwriting or on a typewriter.
As for FactCheck, do you know what that is? If it wouldn’t be acceptable as a source for a school essay, why would you think it’s acceptable as the arbiter of a decision affecting the presidency!?

One point I would like to make is that the certificate number has been blacked out in the version that has been posted by Barack Obama’s people. This certificate number would allow for someone to request a search for that certificate number from the Hawaii Department of Public Health and compare the original on file in their office and the one published on the internet. I have a theory that the document is forged and that is the reason the document number was omitted. There is no real value to the number that would compromise Obama’s identity, it would simply allow someone to verify that the information contained therein is the same as the information on file in Hawaii.

Tensions have obviously gotten high in this race, but when it gets to the point where lies and deceit enter the picture, the whole thing becomes UNAMERICAN. And there are lots of UNAMERICAN people on this blog, and you should be ashamed, and not waste your time on gathering false facts, and instead, figure out how youre going to better yourself, and your country, in the event that the candidate you didnt pick becomes president, whoever that may be. The Muslim statement that they will raise the flag at the White House, makes we wonder if that will be Obama! I believe we have too much to lose to not take precautions and accomplish full investigations when there is much controversy involving this one individual.Statements about ethic charges against candidates, give me a break. Let thee that has not sinned cast the first stone. We are all just human. With Obama we are talking about a lot of questionable issues that he keeps avoiding and his dishonesty by refusing to provide original and legal documentation to substantiate his right to qualify as President of the United States. I feel like it’s “choose between the lesser of two evils”. I didn’t care for McCain & then he brought Palin aboard. My opinion of him did not escalate.

Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Friday she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.
Fukino says that no state official, including Republican Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled differently.
She says state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.
Some Obama critics claim he was not born in the US.
Earlier Friday, a southwest Ohio magistrate rejected a challenge to Obama’s citizenship. Judges in Seattle and Philadelphia recently dismissed similar suits.

The electoral college vote on 15 December may or may not be impacted by the SCOTUS. 6-8 January 2009 has and will continue to be the important date in the final decision as to Barack Obama becoming President of the United States(other court cases will come forth after that but with little chance of succeeding). The January 2009 date is the date a joint session of Congress meets to count the electoral college votes delivered to the Senate from each state.
History shows that the Supreme Court Of The United States(SCOTUS) has generally refrained from interfering with elections and difference between the Executive Office and the Congress, with the exception in 2000((Gore and Bush–which centered on counting of popular votes unable to be decided by state secretaries, lower courts/state) and really not based on the Constitution , and in the cases which are germane to this discussion. It is important because the states and courts have told me I have no standing. I am now conceding the proper “people of standing” have not pleaded with the Supreme Court. History in my opinion shows that a currently seated member of the session at the time of the counting, representative or Senator, must petition the Chamber and SCOTUS at that time to bring up the Barach H. Obama’s father’s British citizenship question. The SCOTUS has in the past done just so which is one of the more important doctrines of the Constitution so carefully detailed by our founding fathers–keeping separation of the three branches separate and recognizing the powers of the Congress.

A certificate of live birth is a birth certificate. Any true political blogger worth their salt would have at least done a little research prior to posting such a egregious error. A certificate of live birth is a certificate that is issued to an individual after the PARENT?? applies to the Health Department for this certificate. The only requirement is …when you apply for this COLB you bring along one other person who will certify to this. So anybody from anywhere can go to the Health Department and apply for this CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH.
A birth certificate is an OFFICIAL document that the doctor and or the hospital where the individual is born is forwarded to and recorded at the Health Department.
I don’t have a PHD but darn it all even my 16 year old grandson knows the difference. But then when you are an obama supporter is hard to tell, did you see the stupid answers they gave at a survey taken after they voted for the one. Gee where you there.??????

You should let the State of VA and Arlington County know this. Seeing as the only documentation filed when my son was born, and the only official document I received, is recorded as a Certificate of Live Birth. They have nothing else on record for him, but this COLB. But I’m sure you know more than Arlington Hospital. -

So, going back 20 years, when he received his driver’s license, when he received a passport, 16 years ago when he received a marriage license and a license to practice law. Long before anyone ever knew he would run for president, you all think he was able to get the State of HI to issue him a fake birth certificate so in case one day he decided to run for president he would have it?
I will be honest, I really knew nothing of this conspiracy theory before the first day I posted a comment on this page. I thought it was just a few people with too much time on their hands making a little fuss. I then started reading about the lawsuits and I started digging a little further into it. You are right, Akira, I am keeping this alive and that is not my intent. I am just having a truly hard time realizing how anyone can actually believe that his birth certificate is fake. Especially when you are only seeing a scanned copy. All security measures on official documents are made to disappear when they are copied or scanned. That is why they are there. Help me understand because none of the points made thus far are valid. None of the “gotcha” information actually proves his birth certificate is a fake.

My question on this is the certification is what is given if you file for a copy of your birth certificate. The certificate is what is given at the time of birth as the official document. If he no longer has the original copy (I have no idea if he has said he does or doesn’t), how can he possibly provide a copy that says certificate. Also, the certification is valid as use for anyone needing verification of someone’s birth certificate, so what is the difference?

My dear friend, I have 150 copies of BIRTH CERTIFICATES FROM THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. None of them are certificates of live birth. I research my family tree. AND I go to the source and have photocopies made, much cheaper. So where ever you got your COLB more power to you. BUT VIRGINIA DOES ISSUE BIRTH CERTIFICATES. I also need to add about showing a birth certificate. This person is going to be sworn in as the president of this country. A person applying for a driver’s license MUST SHOW an original birth certificate. Can we ask much less from a person wanting to be president. ALL presidents before him have had their life put on public view. Is he to be sheltered and pampered and enclosed in a bubble. Nothing a president does, from the day he wins an election (except what he does in his bedroom) must be an open book and showing something as simple as a birth certificate should be a small requirement. That is if he doesn’t have something to hide on it.

The next door neighbor at 6075 has made a statement that there was never a Barack Obama family, with a white mother, black father and black baby that ever lived there. That she had lived there BEFORE 1961 and still to this present day and the Orland Lefforge family had lived at 6085 for the same length of time she had til their deaths a couple of years ago.
