Electronic medical records are a intrusion on my privacy and I hate this idea. I think Newt Gingrich got this started and I quickly changed my mind about him. Obama says we need this because pharmacies cannot read the Doctor's handwriting. Give me a break. I've never had a prescription incorrectly read and then prescribed. This is a government push to know our health condition and then act accordingly - higher premiums, etc - or worse, how about blackmail. We can't keep Department of Defense information safe. Why would we think our medical records will be private? For those thinking the Patriotic Act was intrusion, it's nothing next to this. I am so against this and I so appreciate this law suit.
