Two Men Detained at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport [Updated: Arabic speaking "Middle Eastern" men]
Another Muslim hijacking dry run? Or just a couple of unruly passengers? The plane was emptied, swept by Police K-9’s and luggage was searched. That does not sound like standard investigative procedure over run of the mill belligerent passengers.
We will not know until more details are released. I will update as soon as I learn more.
[...]A Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman said passengers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 192 from Orlando, Fla., to Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport reported that two men were acting strangely.
……
Authorities said the two men were met by Phoenix police and TSA officials at a Sky Harbor gate and they were then interviewed by the FBI.
The plane was emptied was swept by police K-9s and luggage was searched to ensure nothing dangerous was left aboard. Police say nothing was found.
TSA officials did not immediately know the names, ages or hometowns of the two detained men and no additional information was available Sunday.

Update:
Phoenix FBI agent and media coordinator Manuel Johnson said Sunday afternoon the men, described as Middle Eastern, reportedly did a few things that led the passengers to report them. They were talking loudly to each other in a foreign language, a conversation they told authorities was about issues earlier in the day, on the way to the airport.
“One of them made the other late, for whatever reason,” Johnson said.
One was also observed watching what appeared to be footage of a suicide bombing but was actually a scene from the movie “The Kingdom,” and one also got up from his seat while the seat-belt warning sign was still lit, Johnson said.
Note: KPHO.com has updated their article which states the men were speaking in Arabic.
Update 2:
The men were cooperative with the FBI when questioned, then were later released to catch another flight to their final destination in California. Neither was charged.
CAIR mouthpiece Ibrahim Hooper
“Ordinary” Not quite. If they were acting “ordinary” they would of gone unnoticed. Hey Hooper why don’t you send out a memo advising flying Muslims to behave while on board an American flight. Sounds like the sensible way to prevent incidents such as the one at Sky Harbor International airport from occurring. Passengers would NOT react if they had NOTHING to react to.
Fat chance of that happening. Hooper prefers to Islam bait every chance he gets. So it is unlikely he will push for any preventive measures within the Muslim community at large.
This had better not turn into another flying while Muslim lawsuit.
People have every right to be fearful.
It is NOT islamophobia if they really are trying to kill you.
Unless we are given more information as to who indeed the two men were. Where they are from, what they do, where they were coming from and where exactly they were going and why. It will lead many to assume the worst.
Islamic attacks on our airline industry
The list of incidents involving Muslim passengers disrupting flight operations aboard domestic aircraft are increasing, while criminal charges against the suspicious and disruptive Muslim passengers are not. Instead, accusations of racial profiling, alarmist and reactionary responses by the airlines, flight crews and passengers are becoming more widespread, despite the historical significance of such incidents and the consequential devastation and loss of life caused by these very same “dry runs” footnoted in the 9/11 Commission Report.
Rather than handling such incidents as security issues, it is clear that airlines and federal authorities consider these “customer service” problems. This method is undoubtedly the result of the extensive lobbying efforts made by such groups as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) at the highest levels of our government, especially but not limited to the U.S. Justice Department. Doing so has paved the way for civil litigation against those who dare to identify suspicious activity aboard an aircraft, from the passengers to the flight crew to the responding authorities as illustrated by the success of the flying Imams” case from November 20, 2006.
Read it all!
Muslims on dry runs gauge reactions all the while playing on our fears causing confusion. They play the victim card and get off Scot free.
