The Movement by the Change: The Campaign of Barack Obama. Part 8 Anita Dunn and Ben Self Audience Global Foundation Democracy and Development January 12, 2009

Partial transcript courtesy of The Lonely Conservative

Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control,” said Dunn.

“One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters,” said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama’s chief campaign manager.

“We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it,” Dunn said.

Continued Dunn: “Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. … Making the press cover what we were saying.”

Commie cow.

What would stop the Obama Admin from applying the same tactic now?

Nothing.

ANITA DUNN: The reality of it is FOX News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party…. What I think is fair to say about FOX, and certainly the way we view it, is that it really is more a wing of the Republican Party.

DUNN: When he goes on FOX he understands he’s not going on it really as a news network at this point. He’s going on to debate the opposition, and that’s fine. He never minds doing that.

DUNN: Let’s be realistic here, Howie. They are, you know, they’re widely viewed as part of the Republican Party. Take their talking points. Put ‘em on the air. Take their opposition research. Put ‘em on the air. And that’s fine, but let’s not pretend they’re a news network the way CNN is.

Sounds like Mao is not the only political philosopher who inspires Anita Dunn. Heh

Joseph Goebbels: If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

American Patriots taking the bull by the horns.

Operation: Can you hear us now? New York City (And Around The USA) – TownHallMob.com

On September 17, all across America, Tea Party Patriots descended on their television media outlets to voice their criticism over the media bias that ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and CNN have propagated with their leftist advocate style of news reporting. American patriots are not limiting their focus to the Obamacare debacle, rather they are mobilizing on multiple issues. The tipping point has been reached, and Americans are fed up. Below are some of the videos collected from this weekends actions. If you or your group would like me to add video, please e-mail me  mastersoundsdjs @ gmail.com

On the subject of Obama being open to newspaper bailouts…the mans reach knows no bounds… He is so out of touch from reality and what America is all about.

dunceObama said that good journalism is “critical to the health of our democracy,” but expressed concern toward growing tends in reporting — especially on political blogs, from which a groundswell of support for his campaign emerged during the presidential election.

“I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding,” he said.

Er..um Obama tell that to your boot licking MSM. You know the ones I speak of, the inhabitants of the “void”

How about you avoid the void and go on Fox. Or at least tell the truth and hold your propagandists accountable.  Because.. .Hugo *oops* pardon my Freudian slip, I mean Barack, “good journalism is critical to the health of our democracy” And what we have now is far from it and making our country ill.

Or you could go about business as usual and continue as the shark jumping attention hog that you are, till no one out side the ‘void’ listens…any longer.

Works for me.
