“By using the excuse of not upsetting anyone, the politically correct are demanding that people behave like the fool who would please everyone; that everyone must become such a fool! All must accept the notions of the Politically Correct as truth, or else! This is the same mentality that inspired the Inquisition and forced Galileo to recant; the same mentality that inspired the Nazis and obtained the Holocaust. Once expression gets placed in a straitjacket of official truth, then the madness that occurs in all totalitarian states is obtained. Life, in private and public, becomes a meaningless charade where delusion thrives and terror rules.” Political correctness –Philip Atkinson

The History of Political Correctness Parts 1-3 Embedded video
Both communism and the New Left are alive and thriving here in America. They favor code words: tolerance, social justice, economic justice, peace, reproductive rights, sex education and safe sex, safe schools, inclusion, diversity, and sensitivity. All together, this is Cultural Marxism disguised as multiculturalism.
1. Materialism is not about matter, but about suppressing ideas. 2. Communism is not about common wealth, but about depriving people of any personal possessions. 3. Socialism is not about society, but about depriving people of the means of production. 4. Human rights are not personal rights, but collective obligations. 5. Tolerance is not about mutual respect, but about the prohibition of opinions. 6. Multiculturalism is not about cultures, but about the repudiation of nationhood. 7. Energy policy is not about the distribution of energy, but about cutting off energy supplies. 8. Health care is not about health, but about control of our consumption. 9. Family planning is not about families, but about abortions. 10. Self-loathing is not about repentance, but about depriving others of their moral foundation.
Whenever they start by improving something, they finish by depriving people of it.
If you do not think much of the above (if not all) does not fit in with Barack Obama’s agenda, you are kidding your self. Open your eyes and see things how they really are and not as they want you to.
The more the Marxist ‘cult of victimology’ push, the more America gives in. And the more control “some” gain while the rest of us lose our freedoms. It is getting to where, you can’t say anything. Unless you are one of the select ‘victims’, or a leftie liberal bullshit artist, particularly those in the media. No need to apply. For it is an exclusive club, not just ‘anyone’ can become a member.
Does anyone know the origins of Political Correctness? Who originally developed it and what was its purpose?
I looked it up. It was developed at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, which was founded in 1923 and came to be known as the “Frankfurt School.” It was a group of thinkers who pulled together to find a solution to the biggest problem facing the implementers of communism in Russia.
The problem? Why wasn’t communism spreading?
Their answer? Because Western Civilization was in its way.
What was the problem with Western Civilization? Its belief in the individual, that an individual could develop valid ideas. At the root of communism was the theory that all valid ideas come from the effect of the social group of the masses. The individual is nothing.
And they believed that the only way for communism to advance was to help (or force, if necessary) Western Civilization to destroy itself. How to do that? Undermine its foundations by chipping away at the rights of those annoying individuals.
One way to do that? Change their speech and thought patterns by spreading the idea that vocalizing your beliefs is disrespectful to others and must be avoided to make up for past inequities and injustices.
And call it something that sounds positive: “Political Correctness.”
Inspired by the brand new communist technique, Mao, in the 1930s, wrote an article on the “correct” handling of contradictions among the people. “Sensitive training” – sound familiar? – and speech codes were born.
In 1935, after Hitler came to power, the Frankfurt School moved to New York City, where they continued their work by translating Marxism from economic to cultural terms using Sigmund Freud’s psychological conditioning mechanisms to get Americans to buy into Political Correctness. In 1941, they moved to California to spread their wings.
But Political Correctness remains just what it was intended to be: a sophisticated and dangerous form of censorship and oppression, imposed upon the citizenry with the ultimate goal of manipulating, brainwashing and destroying our society.
Fighting the political correctness plague…
All citizens who cherish liberty must reject the scourge of Political Correctness. Freedom of speech must be preserved in America if we are to continue to be free. Read it all! >>>
In his essay yesterday, “Resisting 21st Century Communism”, Fjordman examined the emergence of transnational politically correct Multiculturalism, and the parallels between this noxious ideology and Communism, and its origins in 20th-century socialism.
In the comments, Ypp left a series of thesis/antithesis pairs that highlight the fundamental contradictions inherent in Multiculturalism and political correctness.
I’ve reworded and reorganized them a bit, but the list below is still Ypp’s handiwork.
The Ten Antitheses of Political Correctness

Police officers told an open-air preacher in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, it is a criminal offence to identify homosexuality as a sin. They said this to Andy Robertson, even though he had not mentioned homosexuality in his preaching. He was recording his preaching because the local council had been making allegations about the content of his message. The conversation with police officers was caught on tape.
The Andy Robertson incident in the UK was not the first occurrence and likely not the last of Christians being targeted because of their faith based views on homosexuality.
Miguel Hayworth, 2008
A Christian street preacher in Manchester was silenced, taken into the back of a police van, questioned and detained for over an hour following a complaint of ‘homophobia’.
Miguel Hayworth had been publicly reading from the Bible, from Romans 1:17-32, when a member of the public complained. The officers later released Mr Hayworth and he was permitted to continue preaching.
Stephen Green, 2006
Stephen Green, a Christian campaigner, was arrested for handing out evangelistic tracts at a gay pride festival in Cardiff. Police admitted that he had not behaved in a violent or aggressive manner, but confirmed that officers arrested him because the leaflets contained biblical quotes about homosexuality.
Mr Green was held at a police station for four hours, questioned, charged and eventually committed for trial. The case against Mr Green was subsequently dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Lynette Burrows, 2005
Lynette Burrows, an author and family-values campaigner, took part in a radio talk show about civil partnerships for homosexuals. Mrs Burrows said she did not believe that adoption by two gay men would be best for a child. Subsequently, a policewoman telephoned Mrs Burrows to speak to her about her comments.
The police officer said a ‘homophobic incident’ had been reported against her and that record of it would be kept by police. Mrs Burrows felt that the policewoman was pressurising her even though she had committed no crime.
Joe and Helen Roberts, 2005
Christian pensioners, Joe and Helen Roberts, were interrogated by police in 2005 because they had expressed their opposition to their local council spending public money on ‘gay rights’ projects.
After launching legal action, the couple eventually won an apology and damages from Lancashire Police and Wyre Borough Council. The police and the council also changed their procedures to avoid making the same mistake again.
Christians in the US may soon find themselves in the same boat.
Missing the Point on the Hate Crimes Bill
FactCheck.org recently posted an article that proposes to “answer” some questions about the impact of the Hate Crimes Bill, currently pending in the Senate as S.909…but perhaps they ought to check their facts.
The article summarily dismisses claims that the Hate Crimes Bill would muzzle pastors and churches and states, “In reality, there is nothing in the bill that says pastors must zip their lips rather than denounce homosexuality….” FactCheck points to the existence of the First Amendment and some “constitutional protection” language in the bill and concludes, “What the bill would not do is prohibit anyone’s pastor, rabbi or imam from speaking disapprovingly about homosexuality.”
The article misses the point entirely. As Scottish philosopher David Hume once said, “It is seldom that any liberty is lost all at once.” The fact that the Hate Crimes Bill does not specifically say that pastors may not speak biblical truth about homosexual behavior does not mean that it is not a threat to religious liberty. In fact, it is often the subtle erosion of religious liberty that poses the gravest threat. Like the proverbial frog in the pot of water, the Hate Crimes Bill serves to turn up the heat on pastors and churches. How? Glad you asked. Read the rest>>
